| "R.C. Barns
Builds Barns and Business"
Roger Carriker has been building post-frame
buildings since 1976. In 2000, Roger decided that he had the experience
and desire to provide a better product at a reasonable cost, and
R.C. Barns Building, Inc. was born. Having been in the business
for so many years, Roger knew how to build a structurally sound
building and he and his wife were ready to learn the details of
running a company.
For the first year, Roger did all the sales,
hiring and construction himself, managing to get the company off
to a good start, but it wasn't easy.
"My parents taught me the value of hard
work," Roger said. He now has eight employees, including his
wife and himself. "And we are growing."
Roger's goal is to build a successful company
on a quality building. "Each building is a creation customized
for the client. When we start a building, we don't leave until it's
up," Roger said
For instance, R.C. Barns can create custom horse
stall-barns and arenas or special buildings with heights for RV
storage, as well as lean to buildings for open storage or picnic
areas. Vinyl siding or shingle roofs can be an option that will
make the buildings compatible with subdivision standards, or to
perhaps match the customer's home. R.C. Barns is also very experienced
in building commercial office/shop/warehouse combinations. R.C.
Barns has the experience to do things a lot of "pole barn"
builders cannot.
"It is very gratifying to see a well constructed
building completed," Roger said. R.C. Barns philosophy of customer
satisfaction is to build a building the customer is proud to show
off to friends and neighbors with zero call-backs. In other words,
"Do it right the first time."
This philosophy was arrived at through years
of experience. Knowing what works well and what does not, whether
it is construction materials, or constructions methods.
R.C. Barns' slogan is "Integrity and quality
are built in!" All buildings constructed by R.C. Barns are
built to current local building codes, regardless of what county
or city it's being built in. R.C. Barns only builds within a 100-150
mile radius of Lincoln County, Missouri.
